Cold Tears

The rain pours down from the gray sky, Into a world where love is something you buy. The earth roars and trembles in rage, For those who, in the book, have barely a page. The lightning cracks above the graves, The graves of those few choose to save. Heaven's cold tears puddle on the ground, All of nature cries, so little good hearts are found. As the carnage continues so does the pain, They destroy their gifts and all they contain.
