Yep - I remember when a late cold snap wiped out the Florida orange crop. It still has not recovered - probably never will.

I am hoping we did not lose our apricots. They started blooming, it went to 18 or 22, all those flowers fell off, and them more came out. But we haven't seen very many bees around here.

Oh, wow, keep your fingers crossed. I don't really know how hardy apricots are, but I suspect they can't stand a really hard freeze.

Such a weird time for the plants - they are saying "it's summer, it's winter, it's summer, it's winter"

I think even the weatherpeople are confused. My farmer friend is fighting hard to save his seedlings. He hopes this last cold snap is the last one period. I hope so, too.
