Cold Nights

On nights like this
We stay in
To keep warm
And wear shirts of harlequin

On nights like this
We keep warm
We huddle together
To keep away from harm

On nights like this
We huddle together
From the cold nights
Of no nurture

On nights like this
The cold nights
Will get worse every night
The snow may turn off the lights

On nights like this
The night is strong
Danger awaits outside
But we keep warm all night long

On nights like this
The danger is still waiting
The danger will kill
If you go out walking

On nights like this
You don't have to worry
As long as you stay warm
You don't have to be sorry
