Cold Lonely Night's
Cold lonely people out on the street
Hands are cold with blisters on their feet
Sleeping in places where rats dont bite
Trying to survive in the dead of the night
Cold and lonely out on the street
Pains of hunger needing something to eat
When did you last have a cooked meal?
Sitting with loved ones
Eating veggies and veal
When did you last have a hug?
Lay in a bed feeling warm and snug,
Every night alone on the street
Cold and alone and needing some heat
Have a thought for our homeless friends
Who want a chance to make amends
Do they ask to live this way?
Some dont have a choice
Some dont have a say
Would you want your child living this way ?
No !!
