Cold Hot Chocolate In Freezing Rain

and here i am drinking like i know
and there you are all ready to go

looks like the end and thoughts i can't contain
i wish that you would bend and just relax my brain

i cannot see my whole self without you
sweet detective, now i have not a clue

i say i'm sorry but it falls on deaf ears
it's like my every regrets are paying in arrears

i drink and drink until the world is just a blur
i wish i still knew what a few options were

but now i am drained and all out of fight
i never thought that the world was such a fright

you drive away and i my heart falls into debt
now i kind of know how it feels when Jesus wept

now i'll just live my life in a world of chocolate copper
i was once a prince but now i'm nothing but a pauper

in time i'll grow from each bad decision and mistake,
but for now i hibernate until i'm fully awake
