Cold Gloomy Day

                      COLD GLOOMY DAY

                    Woke up on a shivering
                        Sunday morning.

                  The lovely autumn was
                         approaching,

             The cold September spells from
                    North was coming.

                           Wondering,
What trench coat am I wearing?

                 The wardrobe I've opened,
As my red Hooded Glittery Coat
                      was shimmering.

                    Had to put this on,
                 to brighten up my cold,
                    Gloomy morning!

THANK YOU GUYS FOR THE SMILE!

Poetry is a lens, a camera that captures moments in life. A literary film if you will. With this poem you have taken a lovely photograph and made it three dimensional. Thanks for sharing....................peace!

Hi, Richard Evans. Indeed! Thank you so much for this lovely comment. It's been awhile I have not posted, as I am traveling to visit my Mom.
