"cold December"
Yesterday left as soon as it came
Bleeding out in silence
Cries out a thunderous pain
Gone is the serenity of summer
To a day I ought not remember
Replaced by the winds of a Cold December
As I look out my window
And ponder a time gone by
I wonder where it all went
As I lay down and cry
It's all I can handle
To be alone and distraught
All alone in my head
Deep down in thought
As I stand on the edge
Right back where I started
Not knowing who I am
Lost and lethargic
A whisper that carries
Deep through my soul
Is a haunting reminder
Of a love gone cold
