Cold Concrete

Have you seen her?
In dreams I do see
A little girl lost
Within the cracks of cold concrete

She feels the weight upon her
That awful treading of life's feet
Consumed within their hardships
Those cracks begin to seep

A little girl lost no more
Lives forever in my dreams
Whispering haunting reminders
From within the cracks of cold
concrete
