Cold Atmosphere

Wishful thinking warm summer so far away
Frozen landscape each and every day
Small birds forage for their food
Seeds enliven mood
No blue sky
Cold
All is wry
Atmosphere subdued
Nothing to be done but brood
Months until trees their green leaves display
