Circle of Life.

I can't help thinking
about the things that I've done
the things that I've said
the places I've gone.

Your life it just passes
like the turning tide.
A baby is born
an old person has died.

But this is life it's a circle of time.
Once what was yours soon becomes mine.
Until that time comes I will just carry on.
Because I know that one day
All I have will pass on.

Yepper! One thing that never changes is the fact that this is a continues theme with poets. Who writes that has not tried to capture time's mysteries, joys and pains in poems? I enjoyed your version, your write combines time's melancholy feel with wise acceptance of time's truth ... CayCay
