My longtime friends, Rabbi David and Ingrid Cohen, were blessed with very special parents, Rev. Ahron and Molly Cohen, who were taken from this world recently.  I used to sing them this little ditty at every Cohen family simcha (happy event), to the tune of the Oscar Mayer Wiener Whistle Song.  They derived great pleasure from hearing the simple song, and I miss them, and singing it to them, more than I can tell you...

O, I love to attend a Cohen family simcha** That is where I really love to be-e-e! For when you're at a Cohen family simcha, You are always treated roy-al-ly! **A simcha is Hebrew or Yiddish for a happy event, such as a wedding. The ditty above is to be sung to the tune of "The Oscar Mayer Wiener Whistle Song"

You certainly have a sharp sixth sense! Rabbi and Mrs. Aharon Cohen were the best of the best of the best. I was so fortunate to have taught most of their grandsons for four years in a Jewish Yeshiva high school in Chicago. They were the best years of my life, honestly. Thanks for 'getting it.' Best wishes, Gershon
