Coffee With Grandpa
Coffee in the morning
two eggs scrambled hard
now a distant memory
my morning breakfast with grandpa
Sitting on his knee
while he read the paper
aftershave, Old Spice I think
How it was my favorite
Feeling the love he had for me
without saying a word
The smile he had said it all
I was his favorite girl
