Coffee Amore
alarm rings it's five AM
the adventure begins
my Nespresso is expecting me
the morning is our moment
at the office I dash for a cup
truly a love affair adored
meetings jammed in my head
then comes mid-morning doldrums
can't get enough of your intense flavor
another meeting and a morning buzz
after lunch deadlines swirl in my head
afternoon fancy with an Italian roast
last meeting and one more dark cup
home with family and dinner
early evening on sofa with a book
last dark French roast to end my day
in bed with my wife lights out
a few short hours I'll do it all again
that's me sorted
