The Whiskey Taster’s Flavor Guide

Coffee

I like to linger and linger I do
In the morn’s solitude
Before the sun bursts into view
I linger and linger in thoughts of you
So I think and think of you
As the sun comes into view
Passing is morn’s solitude
As I think and think of you
Beneath a sky of morning blue
I’ll start today and all day through
With thoughts and thoughts and thoughts of you

I really like the whimsy of this poem-- we don't get many like this at Soup it seems--and I get it, though for me it's the other drug: I'm a tea addict (if up to 10 cups a day count!) Congrats on your much deserved win, Jerry.

Thanks, and yes, I drink to whimsy and not to sleepy.

A beauty, Jerry. The rhythm is fabulous. A FAVE for me.
