Coat of Colors

You are the vine by the moon
caressing my twilight lighting
the star's sleepy tune.
Kissing my lips.
Mounting that eternal flame.
Speaking words of passion
breaking away from rain.

Destiny's angel sold her
wings to love she flew down
from Heaven and sent me
your love.
I knew from the first moment
love doesn't cost a dime when
God sends you your other half
it is time.

The skin hot as a candle
pure as a heart kiss your
lips all over me wash away
the dark.

Find the match light the spark
brush me with your love
and paint tomorrow a rose
for a cart.

Dive into the sunset
believe in your every dream
look at what the world knows
and love what life brings.
