Clown Smile

I paint it on everyday
Nobody could ever tell
I will never say
Of my personal hell

I'm a little insecure
But you can't break me down
This smile isn't pure
But I won't wear a frown

I'm the Queen of fake smiles
But I'm also my own jester
It stretches out for miles
And it's made of polyester

I want this nightmare to end
I'm running out of paint
It's not a cool trend
Everyday I have to repaint

Looking at the mess I made
I don't make a sound
I lay down my blade
I have to stand my ground
