Clown At the Abyss
There’s nothing to lose now!
It’s all downhill from here!
No hope of salvation anymore;
nothing left to fear.
The worst has come, and still we’re here!
Enjoy!
Savor!
Labor!
Forget the happy past;
the future is never as cruel as one’s memory;
it is the memory that makes things linger,
the things you want but cannot have,
the things you wished had never happened but have.
Never look back,
good or bad.
Abyss and bliss are one!
Falling is forever
for there is no crash,
no ground to dash you!
Flying is as easy as looking where you are headed
and opening the leathery walls of your heart.
Abandon all hope,
ye who would not be the feast of Fear.
The clowns will keep you laughing.
