Clouds Convene

The shattered stars surround the moon
Where haloed clouds convene
To rid the sky of broken dreams
That heavens a silent cry.

The dawn of earth is slow to rise
But midnight can't sustain
Its cloak that covers deep the light,
And breathes a faithful sigh.

With grace, the sun renews the heart
And fills the empty soul.
