Clouded Thoughts

Intellect Sea
Foremost to me,
   Spreads far as my old eyes can see --
And past a dense
Fog of descent;
   Not forthcoming of common sense.
And through the clouds,
A blackened shroud,
   Where truth, unblemished, once did vow --

But now

I cannot see
In front of me...
   Confounded by the breath in me.
