Cloud
color
from vapor
and refracted
light.
Four
classes
make up clouds
Low, Middle and
High.
More
exist
as plasma
and gas far from
sight.
Two
classes
stratus and
cumulus are
they.
The
stratus
layered, the
cumulus, pile
shaped.
High
clouds reach
far above
wispy, icy
faint.
Low
Clouds live
close to ground
in a foggy
taint.
In
between
the middle
clouds, say moisture
soon.
The
last clouds
vertical
up-current, and
cool.
Clouds
can go
fast or slow
thunderstorm clouds
set,
a
speed of
60 miles
per hour at
best.
High
clouds which
ride a jet
stream move faster
still.
Ice
crystals
form as snow
in the freezing
chill.
Light
descends
discharged
from cumulus
hosts.
When
static
charges
cloud and ground make
bolts.
Rain
is born
sea moisture
dispelled and
packed.
Fall
and give
life to all
then repeat the
act.
Earth's
surface
cools by way
of giving off
heat.
At
night
cooler air
from sea makes a
breeze.
The
cloud looks
down upon
the world it has
kept,
with
water
nourishment
as our blanket
spread.
