Clothing

Silence is ruthless  
When alone and forgotten 
The notion of useless 
Threads through the fabric like cotton 
Stitches grief into the seams of my soul 
The once rich color fading after every wash 
Until I'm nothing more than tattered clothing 
Cast aside and used...
