The Whiskey Taster’s Flavor Guide

Closer still

   Viewing yourself from afar.
   Come closer,
   See who you are.

   Reflections of a friend's past.
   Longing parents,
   Ambitions that didn't last.

   Who is this person?
   Wavy images floating bye.
   Likely catches the eye.

   Come closer and see.
   Remove the blur.
   Etched lines fall into place,

Are you what you want to be?
Do you care if you are free?
   What needs to change?

   When the image sharpens,
   As you grow closer still.
Who you are is your free will.

Glad you liked. I seem to be on an introspective bent lately.
