Closer
We’re one step closer
Watching the lights
Talking to the sky
Closer to the edge
We’ll never have our closure
Falling from these heights
With dark birds flying by
As we made a sacred pledge
And even though I’ll miss you
I’ll walk away this time
Because we were beautiful
And beauty never ends
You’ll miss me too
But you’ll turn on a dime
Because you are beautiful
And beauty always bends
