Closed Eyes

I never meant for you to leave. I'll miss you over the Summer breeze. Just remember when it used to be my stupidity, against your grief. I'm here, right here, nowhere else and yet you look at me like a memory that never was. I can do that too...I think. I feel like that hobo on the streets- begging for money, but when you give him food he just stares at you. No more soul searching, I'm done with it. My eyes are wide open yet my mind is closed shut.
