Clinging To Fear
Bastante, por favor!
(Enough please!)
I'm tired of worrying
where you are among the trees.
Fear consumes my soul
when you fly away so long.
I wonder if your flirting
or just tweeting a new song.
I conjure up all kinds of thoughts
that mess with my brain.
If you'd please just stay with me
when it's pouring rain.
In return for reassurance
I promise not to nag.
Compromise is what we need,
I'll fly beside you and not lag.
I tend to cling to everything
especially my sweet you.
It's only if you disappear
I'd know not what to do.
