Climate-Control Land

No wind to blow over cups and plates
No blistering sun to burn foreheads or napes
No ominous storm clouds roaming the sky
No ants to spoil salads, steaks or pie

Welcome to our sunny indoor barbeque
Where the elements outside are always subdued
Fire up the grill on the heated porch ~ AND
Bring on the good times in climate-control land

It was 55 degrees here today. But I am still not ready to “bring on the snow.” This poem describes the Midwest well.

It all sounds so perfect, Gershon. Given the state of our planet now, we'd have to act fast to create such a controlled climate. Very interesting poem that gives us much to consider. (People here in Florida sometimes do long for snow!) Enjoyed, my friend! Hugs, Carolyn
