Climate change and its impact on health

Climate change and its impact on health Modern world of changing climes, health now wanes; As nature's balance tilts, our bodies strain; Beneath a sky once calm and clear, world lost balance year by year; Now climate shifts with fair decree, a warning cry from land and sea. Heatwaves scorch the fragile ground, the burning fields, no solace found; As glaciers melt, the oceans rise, with every storm, the planet cries; Floods rise with dread, as diseases spread; Polluted streams and tainted rain, a silent march of spreading pain. Water, once pure and clear, now harbours toxins, spreading fear. The air we breathe, a toxic veil, as forests burn and species pale; The human toll, a heavy weight, as illness grows at nature’s fate; Lungs choke on smog, poor plight, allergies soar, a constant fight. Infections spread where warmth prevails, in altered lands, resilience fails; Asthma, fever, heatstroke’s breath, a changing world that whispers death. Communities displaced, homes lost to the tide, mental anguish deepens, where to hide; The toll on health, from climate's drift, a solemn truth, a painful shift; But in dim shadow of despair, hope remains, in action, in care; To mend the earth, to heal and fight, to turn the darkness into light. For every seed of hope we sow, acts of kindness, our courage shows; With unity and strength, we face the test, protecting health for all, we do our best; Together we can change the tide, for health, for life, for earth’s own pride.
