Clench of the Hand

The clench of the hand when greed holds a man: tightly. Once not in command, aligned with God’s plan: lightly. The battle of will to hold tighter still: nightly. The feel of the thrill just learning to chill: sprightly. ---------- from Poet's Collective, a Lai, with triplets of 5a:5a:2b, 2 per stanza.
