Clearing My Chest
I'm trying hard to find a way
for me to say my feelings.
To load my words and fill a lung
and use my tongue to fire.
I'm sorry if I hurt you dear
but I fear that you should know.
I'm ready for our time to part
I’m sure it starts to show.
It's hard to see with all these lies
the immortal ties have broken.
We wait for them to be reborn
while others mourn its silence.
If only we could clear the skies
to heal the ties of truth.
Then we could live so full of trust
and not just lust destruction.
