Clean Me Up

Clean me up
I have forgotten how to
clean my wounds
your touch is healing
hold my hand Dear Lord
please teach me to follow

Clean me up
for I have fallen
my dearest companion
inspire my soul
to search for truth
as I follow you

Clean me up
I believe in you
I've been deceived for so long
I"ve longed for your truth
can I go on

Clean me up
something has controlled my life
who is this man they call the Christ

Will you clean me up
and welcome me in
for my life is full of sin

If this christ is real to you
please tell me what I must do

Open your mouth and confess your sins
and Christ will forgive you
and welcome you in
