Ah! now you know...it can be both. It has season Kigo (a season word...clamming is done in a season, you choose, spring, summer, or autumn, but maybe not winter) and it has Senryu (sen--reoo, sen-re-oo) about the human condition. The haiku and senryu and tanka do not have titles, the first line is considered the identification of the poem and this is how it is located. Skat, it can be both haiku and senryu.
