City Sights

Once again
Eyes feast plain
New terrain

This city
Speaks to me
Through beauty

Chance greets change
Views most strange
In sharp range

Feel and see
In swift spree
Just to be

To glimpse clear
Watch my dear
Masks of cheer

City sights
In blunt light
Fling fond flights

Sense beauty
Come and see
What may be

Yet don't poke
Cracks that stroke
The odd yoke

As you know
Come and go
In dream flow

Let joy bring
Tryst that springs
From fine flings

For this while
See our smiles
As masks style

We live here
With our cheer
Tinged with tears

Thank you then
For brief span
To feel trends
