City Relaxation
No high fives to all of your dead ends of bullsh*t
Fake friends will smile and try to think alike
Everyday is suffocated in a breathless white
Great talk
Ride your bike to edge of the endless sidewalk
Squares in chalk
Annoying children playing hopscotch
Jumping in and out of empty boxes like little queefs
City reefs
Withering subsequently midsummer heat
Waves rising up off of the city street
Steps taken with ease
Simplify life
Chuck Taylor’s and baseball tee’s
Soak in the urban decor
Aesthetically pleased
Smells of the westward wind blowing in from the east
Catch and release
Accept what your mind can’t begin to even think
I stopped and stared at the sky for a moment longer than a standard blink
White clouds rolled in
Holding all of the showers of your dreams
Drench the flower pedals under your feet
Shatter the concrete
And, let the drops water the city weeds
A lonely dandelion
Standing strong amid the defeat
Asphalt jungle
Loudly buzzing
Quietly asleep
Junkies screaming inside their heads roaming across the street
Plaguing alley ways with their disease
Discarded hearts broken in peace
