City In the Sky

We’ve got our tickets paid our fares
Were thousands of feet in the air
Way up high where we love to fly
In the City in the sky



We can see the clouds down below
But we’ve passed our fear of vertigo
We’re feeling good way up high
In the City in the sky



It’s such a busy world up here
Airlines flying everywhere
To destinations around the world
Travelling close to the speed of sound



This journey gonna take some time
Might watch a film relax, unwind
Listen to some sweet soul music
Just tap our feet we're so restricted



We're flying south on holiday
Into the sunshine we just can’t wait
All the crew have been so kind
In the City in the sky



Hello this is your captain speaking
Were about to touch down
Prepare yourself for landing please
In the City on the ground
