Circular Cycle

So simple,
yet so complex.
A constant struggle,
my life's a mess.

Searching for an understanding.
Well it was never there.
Wishful thinking,
its more than just a prayer.

Fighting for the meaning,
settling for the unknown message.
Look to the window,
Always wondering, forever questioning.

Does this life have any purpose?
A whole cycle is truly what we are.
There is no explanation.
I am surprised we have made it thus far.

To not believe in something more,
Naive you say,
But I am not so sure.
How can one be sure of anything,
especially sure enough to believe in eternity?

Who has superiority?
Who is in control,
who calls out the next demand?

To know is to be,
or to be is to know.
It is all just a big show.

We cannot know,
too many unanswered questions,
too much curiosity.
We have nothing to show.

The want,
the need for change.
This is the only inevitable thing.
Striving for the best,
but who is to say that exists?

The best is shaped by society.
The best is more about priority.
What comes first and why?
Never should it be about what you can buy.

Money is a scheme.
But all refuse to see it.
Take it or leave it,
but my piece of mind will always be mine.
And nobody can take my dignity.
