Summer birds- fly in the sky The flowers dance to the chimes of nature The people laugh with the sun-- Summer love Like a shadow- everything descends, The wheel of fortune spins slowly Fire at the surface of the sea, Withered petals litter the ground Red hues flood your street as the trees grow bald You hide beneath that winter coat, the hands bare, are attacked by the wind One glove always go missing-- Winter morning The cold, white blanket slowly melts away A burst of yellow scatters the green You look up and it blinds you A spring afternoon

Lovely poetic description of the seasons Sharmin, and I love the appropriate metaphors in each stanza. Thank you for your kind comments. Love, Nigel
