Cinderella Story

midnight hits the magic fades
gone are the coach gone are the knaves
the glass slippers left behind
in this a cinderella story

born in to loving arms on a council estate
the lifts dont work
you cant escape
but then my mum she had to go
off to my aunts house i had to loam

my cousins hurt and teased me
as they stole my money
beat me senseless left me for dead
now im dreaming in my bed of when

my princess charming comes to get me
picks me up and gets me out of here
leave behind this barron wasteland
of missery and regret
then i wake into a nightmare
i look at the clock and i feel realy sick

midnight hits the magic fades
gone are the coach gone are the knaves
the glass slippers left behind
in this a cinderella story

will i get out of this living nightmare
as a servent to the system in a bloodline
when o when will it by my time
to find my princess and to all this say bye bye
