Chrysalis of Time

In chambers still, where seconds sigh, A transformation waits to fly. The caterpillar, bound and curled, Dreams of wings unfurl. No frantic pace, no striving hand, Just patient trust in shifting sand. The silence holds, a fertile ground, Where dormant strengths are slowly found. From threads of fear, a cocoon spun, A haven where fears are outrun. Dissolving doubts, like silken strands, New purpose ignites within the lands. Though minutes crawl, and hours crawl, A quiet alchemy enthralls. During the wait, a fire burns, The chrysalis learns, and life reruns. Then, one sweet day, the shell gives way, And sunlight paints a brighter day. With wings unfurled, a soul takes flight, Transformed by waiting, bathed in light. So let us rest when shadows fall, Embrace the pause, and heed the call. For in the stillness, wings unseen, May wait to bloom, in shades of green. And when we rise, renewed and bold, Remember well the story told, Of how the wait, though long and deep, Held secrets vast, where dreams could sleep.
