Chronic Is His Name

Chronic is his name

Chronic they said,

From which there is no cure.

Chronic they said,

Might make life more demure.

Chronic they said,

Chin up, stress down.

Chronic they said,

Limit nights out on the town.

Chronic they said,

Alter life here and there.

Chronic they said,

Management’s key, don’t despair.

Chronic they said,

Just take some of these.

Chronic they said,

After meals, swallow with ease.

Chronic they said,

Side effects? You’ll survive!

Chronic they said,

Exercise, eat healthy and thrive.

Chronic they said,

Numerous others in the same boat.

Chronic they said,

Join a support group, stay afloat.

Chronic they said,

At last, some honesty.

Chronic they said,

Rather you than me!

The ending punch line was perfectly done, Alunamda.
