Christopher

I’ll tattoo your name across my flesh And let the light Penetrate the symbols of who you are I was raised up by a soldier A warrior, a poet Who taught me to support the weight of the label they gave you To be the branch that does not bough with the load I won’t forget to remember the brilliance Grief is released to soar Across carefree innocence Green with youth fading into pastels Fading into memory

I can only begin to imagine how difficult it was been for you over the years before and after your sons death. Many years ago one of my work colleagues had a sister with this condition and her parents had to watch the child round the clock on a rota basis:-( hugs jan xx
