Christmas Wish
Dear Santa,
I pray upon a start tonight.
To help my family survive the fight.
It has been a hard year for many
with the economy down and no work in sight.
This Christmas is going to be hard for sure.
There’s neither a tree nor presents this year.
I know Christmas isn’t about gifts.
I know it is about family and friends.
Try to tell that to a little boy.
Who believes you will deliver some toys.
I hope you get this prayer in time
before Christmas has arrived.
