Christmas Time
My long wait has ended in delight
Merry Christmas time is in sight
The northern wind blows chilled
In the frosty December ambiance
Sun-starved day fades away
at the edge of the cold night.
My long wait has ended in delight
Merry Christmas time is in sight
Fir trees flash as the stars shine
With gloss of gleaming splendor
In the firmament of my heart
They all shimmer astral bright.
My long wait has ended in delight
Merry Christmas time is in sight
Northern wind whistles winter tune
Distant church bells toll in solitude
Sleighs slide with joyful children on
Buried pathway of meadow white.
My long wait has ended in delight
Merry Christmas time is in sight
I hear the rhythm of carol from afar
Floating in the air with divine flair
Riding the waves of silent snowflakes
Sparkling in the mesmeric moonlight.
My long wait has ended in delight
Merry Christmas time is in sight.
