Christmas Tears In Heaven

Does Jesus cry in heaven because of what folks do With parties held on Christmas with lots of Christmas brew? Does Jesus cry on Christmas because the churches close, They think that few will come there; some other place they chose? Do angels cry there with Him because of few who sing The songs with awe and wonder without loud drums and strings? Do all the saints cry also because this sacred day Is missing on the calendar in oh, so many ways? No Christmas tears in heaven? I wonder how could be When Calvary’s tree’s forgotten, replaced by Christmas trees? No room that night back yonder, no room for Him today-- It should bring sadness to us, but too many are astray. They say that up in heaven no one’s supposed to cry, But as I think about this, I have to wonder why. Are there no tears in heaven because down here below Folks desecrate our Savior with places that they go On Christmas Day especially, when angels up above Once sang a precious story about His wondrous love? The Christmas tears in heaven may be shed after all Because too many people no longer hear the call. Too many think that Christmas is all of old Saint Nick, The presents and the parties and reindeer paws that click. It must not be Christ’s birthday; He gets few gifts that day, But oh, the money spent then for another’s gift display! We’re promised in the Bible that God will dry our tears, But I wonder if in heaven that tears may still be here? I hope that they aren’t crying because of what I do On Christmas Day for Jesus or others all year through. May Christmas tears in heaven be never shed for me; I want to honor JESUS more than the gifts I see! I want to make Him special, first in all I do and say, So Christmas tears in heaven aren’t shed for me today!
