Christmas Stockings

Christmas Stockings were locked up tight most of the year It will be worth the wait, you’ll see, please have no fear, Said a mouse who knew all about the magic of a stocking surprise. Wait until you see the children’s delighted eyes! They will pull out of you candy, twinkle lights and more. They will clutch you to their hearts, that will truly happily soar. I wish in my next life to come back as a Christmas Stocking too. Christmas morning is worth it, I have seen quite a few.

Delightful, and personification, too. We never had Christmas stockings growing up. I suppose that tradition came about because of "The Night Before Christmas."
