Christmas Reason

Christmas Reason

Once upon a Long Time Ago,
In a Land Far, Far Away,
To Mary and Joseph a Child Was Born,
On a Bed of Straw and Hay.

A Star Shone down from Heaven,
A Sign of this Miracle Event.
A Child Born of a Virgin,
To Us, Heaven's Child Was Lent.

He Was Only Here for Awhile,
But His Coming Changed Mankind.
No Greater King Has Ever Reigned,
Not One Could Anyone Find.

The Name of the Child Was Jesus,
He Was Jesus Our Lord from Above.
He Taught So Many Things,
And One Was the Power of Love.

Now Each Year at Christmas Time,
We Give Gifts of Love to Each Other,
To Remember the Miracle of His Birth,
And His Love That Lasts Forever.
