Christmas Prayer
I ask of thee on this day
Bless and feed the hungry
Take no thought for I have enough
Sharing on this Christmas Day
Gifts and tidings I do not need
For you have already given me plenty
Open the door to those
Who do not share your love
Let them understand the meaning
That Christ died for thee
Hold them in this resemblance
Of thy birth,
On this Christmas Day
