Christmas Poem

Childhood memories of Christmases past
At this time of year a spell is cast
Pretty lights flash, causing feelings of cheer
A season that brings friends and family near
Musical tributes in the form of a song
Decorated stores with their lines oh so long
Sharing smiles and laughter with all those we pass
Giving gifts filled with love and toasting a glass
Sending holiday wishes to all who are dear
Merry Christmas to all and a Happy New Year!
