Christmas Morn
Brilliant sun, blinding light
casting shadows in day escaping night,
the warm and steady rise of the sun
embracing cold and dark as the day is done,
mid-December warm
birth of the savior at dawn,
a reckoning for all mankind
hear and listen to the heartbeat of the mind,
God's greatest gift for the body and the soul
blessings from the Lord, to make us whole.
all set forth on Christmas morn
Welcome one, welcome all,
the son of God is born.
