Christmas Kisses 2020

Alas Christmas Day is fast approaching, With fluffy white snow and chill encroaching, And all we could do is dream of kissing, With pandemic, all the bliss I'm missing. Should we go and buy some green mistletoe? It would be void, we'll miss all afterglow. So with thick masks to protect our faces We can only pray and hope for graces. Just passing the time away.

Hi Victor, Christmas will most definitely be different this year. At best we can stroll down memory lane and remember kissing under the mistletoe. Nevertheless, we must remain hopeful that things will back to normal again. I enjoyed the read:-) Alexis

All we can do is hang on in there. I am sure poets will help us get though. Glad you are still up to the task and doing your bit. Best regards and Merry Christmas. David in NZ

You are right Victor, no Kissing under the Mistletoe this year. We can still dream about it. Which is better than nothing. Many wonderful blessings to you. Hugs, Brandy

What you call just passing the day away, lights up the heart. Though it is mixed with sadness, still is cute and beautiful at heart. Fave.

This made me smile because of the truth of the "absence of mistletoe this year" but it also made me incredibly sad, because of the non-hugs and non-lots-of-other-things this year. I too pray we can get through this.
