Notes About The Poem

Christmas Joy

Hush, little children, please don’t cry.
Your Father in Heaven has let out a long, loving sigh.
Christmas will soon be here with sugar plums to dance in your dreams.
Joy will be had by all, like a new, delightful ice cream.
No more problems, no more cares.
Just Christmas Day to come, so loving and rare.

Thank you Daniel. I miss it when I don't write, like a part of me is gone. Was busy with family obligations. I have been busy typing and posting poems for my Mother lately too, Betty Harp Butler. Have a Merry Christmas Daniel.
